Pearl Jam - 2009 - Backspacer




Backspacer is the ninth studio album by the American alternative rock band Pearl Jam, released on September 20, 2009. The band has released the album through its own label Monkeywrench Records in the United States and through Universal Music Group internationally. Pearl Jam began work for the follow-up to its previous album, Pearl Jam (2006), in early 2008. In 2009, the band began to build on instrumental and demo tracks written during 2008. The music on the record features a sound influenced by pop and New Wave.
